First, press and hold the power button on the front of the ActivPanel or on the remote to put it into sleep mode.

If an OPS is present, the ActivPanel will prompt you to power it off. Follow the on-screen instructions to do so. The ActivPanel will power the OPS off first then go into sleep mode.

The ActivPanel’s power button should now be red and the flame button should be off. If an OPS is present, it should now have a red LED.
NB: If the flame button is on, this means that the ActivPanel is still in stand-by. Press the power button again to take it out of stand-by and restart the procedure.

Next, use the power switch on the back of the ActivPanel to power it off completely.
NB: For the ActivPanel Titanium, due to the proximity sensor, you will have approximately 10 seconds to power it off before the ActivPanel boots up again.

The ActivPanel’s power button should now be off. If an OPS is present, its LEDs should be off too.

It is now safe to remove or install the OPS.

•  To remove the OPS, loosen the two screws located on the extremities of the OPS with a screwdriver or your fingers, then take it out of its slot.
•  To install the OPS, check the orientation of the OPS is correct then slide it into the OPS slot. Tighten the two screws located on the extremities of the OPS using a screwdriver or your fingers.
