1400 – Error 1606 when creating a network install of ActivInspire
After choosing the Network Install option and extracting the contents of the core resources, you may receive error 1606: could not access network locations \ActivSoftware\Inspire.
This is usually because of a problem with the core resource file extraction.
To solve this issue, and obtain the resources .msi package, you can browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Temp\Activsoftware\Res\ENU where it is located, and then use the package in the normal manner.
Alternatively, you can download the resource pack from the Support site. To install, double click the file, or select File | Import from the ActivInspire software menu.
