From time to time, you may notice that your pen appears too sensitive when writing on the ActivBoard. This is normally because of the nib inside the ActivPen that might need re–seating. To re – seat the nib, simply pull the nib out of the pen, and put it back in.

If you have done this, and are still experiencing the issue, you may also want to try:

  1. Reset your ActivBoard by unplugging the mains supply (or USB port of the computer if using an ActivBoard 100 or ActivBoard 300) for around 15 seconds, and power back on.
  2. Try a known working ActivPen from another system on the ActivBoard. If the other pen works, it would suggest that your ActivPen has a fault.
  3. Ensure you are using the latest version of ActivDriver and ActivInspire.
