If your ActivBoard is not connecting to your computer, first of all, ensure you are using the latest ActivDriver and that your ActivBoard is connected to your computer with the light in the top left hand corner of the ActivBoard illuminated.
If you are still unable to make a connection, click on Start, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Device Manager (or Start, Control Panel, System, Device Manager if viewing Classic View).
If you have a yellow exclamation mark next to Human Interface Devices, right click on the entry, and choose Update Driver Software.
At the next screen, click on Browse my computer for Driver Software.
At the next screen, Browse to C:\Program File\Activ Software\ActivDriver\activusb\XP and click OK.
Back at the Browse for Software on your computer screen, click on Next.
Follow the wizard through, and the driver software will be updated.
Once completed, you should no longer have any exclamation marks under Human Interface Device’ and your ActivBoard should now be interactive.
