It may sometimes be necessary to disable or enable Windows 7 UAC.
UAC is a security method built into Windows 7, designed to ensure no programs are run with Administrator rights. This can interfere with some software designed for earlier versions of Windows (such as ActivStudio or ActivPrimary).
The quickest way to safely disable the UAC is to lower the security threshold at which the UAC would normally become active.
To do this, click the Start menu and select Run. Type the following into the command line:

Simply move the slider down to the bottom to disable the UAC, and click OK.
