If your projector is installed in an environment with higher than average altitude it may be necessary to adjust the fan speed settings. In these environments the air is thinner and therefore, in order to sufficiently cool your projector's internals, you must increase the fan speed.

This function is known as Fan Control and can be configured as follows.

Choose the running speed of cooling fans from the following options according to the ground elevation under which you use the projector.

Off: Normal speed. Set this function to “Off” when using the projector in non-high altitude environment.

On1: Faster than Off mode. Select this mode when using the projector in high altitudes (about 1200 meters/3900ft or more above sea level) where the fans' cooling is less effective.

On2: Faster than On1 mode. Select this mode when using the projector in higher altitudes than above where the fans have lesser cooling effect.

NB: It is normal for the fan noise to increase when On1 or On2 is selected.
Failure to set the correct running speed of cooling fans may affect the projector life.
