HDMI

Connect your projector or ActivPanel to your laptop using an HDMI cable.

There may be several HDMI ports on your ActivPanel. Press the Source button on the ActivPanel, or on its remote control, and select the correct HDMI source.

If using a PRM-25, PRM-32, PRM-35, PRM-45, EST-P1 or UST, press the Source button and select HDMI. Press Menu to exit.

If using a PRM-30 projector, press MENU, select Input and then select HDMI. Press MENU to exit.

VGA

Connect your projector or ActivPanel to your laptop using a VGA cable. 

There may be several VGA ports on your ActivPanel. Press the Source button on the ActivPanel, or on its remote control, and select the correct VGA source.

There are 2 VGA ports (Computer 1 and Computer 2) on the back of your projector. Make a note of which VGA port your cable is connected to.

If using a PRM-25, PRM-32, PRM-35, PRM-45, EST-P1 or UST, press the Source button and select either VGA 1 or VGA 2.

If using a PRM-30 projector, press the relevant key on your remote control (Computer 1 or Computer 2). You may need to press the button several times to cycle through the options. Make sure you select RGB and not SCART.

If you are using a Sanyo projector, a PRM-10 or PRM-20 projector, press the MENU button on your remote control and use the arrow keys to highlight the relevant VGA port (Computer 1 or Computer 2) then press SELECT. Another menu will appear. Using the arrow keys, highlight RGB or RGB Analogue then press SELECT. (Do not select RGB SCART or RGB Composite). Press MENU to exit.

Search your computer for Displays.

On Ubuntu 12.04 there are several ways to access the Displays window. Search from Dash home:

Click System, Preferences and then Monitors.
