Light not lit: The adaptor is not working, is not connected to the computer, or the driver is not installed.

On a Windows computers, go to the Start Menu, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, and look for a Keyspan USB Serial Adapter in the list. If it appears, this means that the driver is installed. If not then please go to the manufacturer's website to download the driver for your adapter. 

Flashing light: The driver is installed but the device is not detected. Power off the ActivBoard and the computer, wait for 30 seconds and power them both back on.

Light always on: Driver is installed and the adapter is working normally.
