1714 – What should I do if my ActivConnect OPS-G freezes?

If your ActivConnect OPS-G freezes and you are no longer able to interact with your ActivPanel, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Locate the power switch on your ActivConnect OPS-G, which can be found to the left rear side of your ActivPanel. Switch off the ActivConnect OPS-G, wait 10 seconds and switch it back on.
  2. Update your ActivPanel firmware. Please refer to article 1160 for details.
  3. Ensure you have the latest version of all apps. Open Promethean App Store and select the Updates tab to install updates. If you are using a different app store, look for a similar Updates menu. Additionally, swipe down from the top of your screen and check the Notifications drawer for update alerts.

If the problem persists after following these steps, please contact Promethean Technical Customer Support with your ActivPanel and ActivConnect OPS-G serial numbers.
