1713 – ActivConnect G freezes after update

After updating your ActivConnect G software, you may notice that the device freezes, and you are no longer able to interact with your ActivPanel.

To resolve this, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Locate the power cable for your ActivConnect G and unplug it from the mains. Wait 10 seconds and plug it back in.
  2. Update your ActivPanel firmware. Please refer to article 1160 for details.
  3. Ensure you have the latest version of all apps. Open the Promethean App Store and select the Updates tab to install updates. If you are using a different app store, look for a similar Updates menu. Additionally, swipe down from the top of your screen and check the Notifications drawer for update alerts.

If the problem persists after following these steps, please contact Promethean Technical Customer Support with your ActivPanel and ActivConnect G serial numbers.
